    Charlotte grew up in Denmark and came to the US when she was 19 with only suitcase and a little bit of English in hand. She lived in the Calabasas area outside of LA in California until she moved to Santa Ynez in 1990. She worked her way up from groom to trainer to judge. She got her US Citizenship in the mid 80ties.

    Last year, when I was in sixth grade we did something called World Fit. It’s a website where you type in how long your activity was. That changed my life by helping me to have more control of a soccer ball whenever I’m playing soccer.

World Fit® is a walking and exercise program for elementary and middle school students in grades 3 through 8. World Fit’s mission is to eradicate childhood obesity and improve children’s health and attitude towards fitness.

World Fit® is a six-week, school-based walking and exercise program designed to encourage physical activity for elementary and middle school students in grades 3 through 8. Olympians and Paralympians act as mentors and adopt schools in the program to teach students the importance of lifelong fitness and the Olympic values of perseverance, respect, and fair play.

Since the first World Fit Walk in 2009, 83,723 students from 95 different schools across America have logged in a total of 6,901,397 miles during the six-week program!
